Cubic vs. Square footage

Moving companies usually use cubic feet as their measurement of choice. Here's the basic formula: a 10 x 10 storage unit is 100 square feet of floor space (multiply the length times the width). All of our units have 10' high ceilings, so multiply that by your square footage to come up with your cubic footage.

5 x 5 x 10 - Ideal for small items such as chairs, boxes, miniature desks, etc.
5 x 7.5 x 10 - Ideal for a small one-bedroom apartment.
5 x 10 x 10 - Ideal for a one-bedroom apartment or small to medium size items such as tables, chairs, bikes, lawnmower, boxes, spare tires, etc.
5 x 12.5 x10 - Ideal for a larger one-bedroom apartment or a one-bedroom plus den.
10 x 10 x 10 - Ideal for a half a house or two-bedroom apartment/condo without appliances.
Great for storing small to large items such as a small seasonal recreation vehicle, appliances, boxes, furniture, etc.
10 x 15 x 10 - Ideal for a two or three-bedroom condo or townhouse without appliances.
10 x 20 x 10 - Ideal for a full three-bedroom home or for storing small to large items such as excess inventory, warehousing, vehicles, boxes, appliances, etc.
10 x 25 x 10 - Ideal for a large three-bedroom home with appliances, or a four-bedroom home without appliances.
10 x 30 x 10 - Ideal for a four-bedroom home with appliances.
